Acquisition intelligence

The company is never the secret. The moment is.

MLX names the companies becoming acquisitions before the market does, and the evidence for why now. Then it finds the warmest path to the person who decides.

Access is by request. Our team reviews every one and follows up personally.

BRIEFING · MON 29 JUNWHAT MOVED
Readiness on Meridian Logistics moved to 79 from 77.
An offhand “more time with the grandkids” remark (Jun 18), inferred against his age and the VP Ops succession hire days earlier, personal intent now matches the structural moves, before any public process.
DO → Request a board-level warm intro to Raymond now.
The window

The deal was decided months before it was announced.

It was decided in a conversation nobody wrote down, between two people who already knew each other. MLX exists to put you in that conversation.

The problem

The best businesses are never for sale. They are quietly available, to one person, for about six months, and then they are not. Nothing is published, because nothing needs to be.

What lands on your desk instead is a teaser. A process, a data room, a price already discovered, and eleven other bidders reading the same page you are. You were not early. You were invited.

Being early is not a research problem. It is an access problem.

Early

Intent shows up in fragments long before a process exists: an aside on a podcast, a succession hire, a UCC filing. MLX reads the fragments and dates them.

Warm

A cold approach to a founder is a rounding error. MLX resolves every target to the shortest real path out of your own network, and names each hop.

Evidenced

Every score opens into the dated, sourced facts underneath it. Confidence is shown, not implied, so a thin read is allowed to look thin.

The edge

Everyone can see the company. Almost no one can see the moment.

Five surfaces over one model. MLX reads intent while it is still a rumor, ranks it against your thesis, and hands you the person to call and the reason to call them.

Briefing

What changed. What matters. What to do.

Not a feed. A short, dated read on what moved since you last looked, and the single action each movement implies. If nothing moved, it tells you that too.

Northwind HVAC Distribution: Sits at 44 on 48 confidence. The read is thin, and it is shown as thin.

Signals

The raw intelligence stream, as it forms.

Twelve classes of signal, each one dated and attributed: founder exit intent, succession, ownership change, growth acceleration, hiring trend, legal filings, competitive movement. You get the evidence, not a summary of it.

Opportunities

Ranked companies crossing your threshold.

Acquisition Readiness is a weighted composite of six drivers, minus risk. Confidence is derived separately, from how much evidence backs the read and how fresh it is. A high score on thin evidence is shown as exactly that, because a wall of nineties would tell you nothing.

Pipeline

Live approaches, replies, and deal continuity.

A thin surface, deliberately. Not a task manager and not a kanban board. Replies are classified rather than counted: interested, not now, wrong person, referral, needs follow-up. Do-not-contact is a hard stop that a normal send cannot override.

It compounds

MLX is worth more to the tenth member than it was to the first.

Every warm path that gets confirmed, every reply that gets classified, every read that turns out to be right makes the next read sharper. That is the part competitors cannot buy, and the part MLX does not explain in public. Members can see how it works from the inside. Nobody else needs to.

Companies crossing your threshold arrive ranked by Acquisition Readiness, each with its drivers, its evidence and its confidence exposed. Low confidence visibly mutes the score rather than hiding behind it.

Warm outreach

Outreach

MLX finds the path, then drafts the approach against the specific evidence behind it. The personalized line is marked, so you can see exactly what the draft is claiming and why. You approve before anything sends.

OUTREACH DRAFT · RAYMOND MERIDIAN
A quiet conversation
Raymond, Raymond, I’ve followed Meridian’s Dallas cross-dock expansion closely; the move into cold chain looks well-timed as Sun Belt grocery networks consolidate. I partner with owners on what comes next, on their timeline, no banker, no process. If you are ever open to a low-key conversation, I would value it. Best, Michael Ross · Quema Capital

Pipeline

Pipeline

Live approaches, classified replies, and deal continuity in one place. The point is not activity volume. The point is knowing which conversations are actually alive.

Security and trust

Your name is on every message, so you sign every message.

MLX operates on your network and writes in your voice. Three commitments hold that up, and none of them are configurable away.

A human approves before anything sends

MLX drafts and proposes. Every message is written for review and requires your approval before it goes out. Nothing sends autonomously, and there is no setting that changes this.

Do-not-contact is a hard stop

Once a person or firm is marked do-not-contact, MLX will not draft to them, queue them, or send to them. It is enforced where the draft is built, so a normal send cannot override it.

Network connections are informed consent

Connecting a source is an explicit act, never bundled into onboarding. You see what is read and what is not before you connect, and you can review or revoke any connection at any time.

Your data is handled under ourSecurityandPrivacycommitments. Single sign-on, least-privilege access.
Request access
